പച്ചക്കറികളും പഴവര്‍ഗങ്ങളും കീട- രോഗ ബാധകളില്ലാതെ നല്ല വിളവു നല്‍കണമെന്ന് എല്ലാവര്‍ക്കും ആഗ്രഹമുണ്ടാകും. കാലാവസ്ഥ വ്യതിയാനവും മറ്റു പ്രശ്നങ്ങളും കാരണം ഇതു പലപ്പോഴും നടക്കണമെന്നില്ല. രോഗം വന്നിട്ട് ചികിത്സിക്കുന്നതിനേക്കാള്‍ നല്ലതു വരാതെ നോക്കുന്നതാണെന്ന തത്വം മനുഷ്യനു മാത്രമല്ല നമ്മുടെ വിളകള്‍ക്കും ബാധകമാണ്.

പച്ചക്കറികളും പഴവര്‍ഗങ്ങളും കീട- രോഗ ബാധകളില്ലാതെ നല്ല വിളവു നല്‍കണമെന്ന് എല്ലാവര്‍ക്കും ആഗ്രഹമുണ്ടാകും. കാലാവസ്ഥ വ്യതിയാനവും മറ്റു പ്രശ്നങ്ങളും കാരണം ഇതു പലപ്പോഴും നടക്കണമെന്നില്ല. രോഗം വന്നിട്ട് ചികിത്സിക്കുന്നതിനേക്കാള്‍ നല്ലതു വരാതെ നോക്കുന്നതാണെന്ന തത്വം മനുഷ്യനു മാത്രമല്ല നമ്മുടെ വിളകള്‍ക്കും ബാധകമാണ്. കൃഷിയിടത്തിലെ വിളകളുടെ രോഗ-കീട ബാധ തടഞ്ഞ് നല്ല വിളവ് തരാന്‍ സഹായിക്കുന്നൊരു ജൈവവളമാണ് ദശഗവ്യം. പേരു പോലെ പത്ത് ചേരുവകള്‍ ചേര്‍ത്താണിതു തയാറാക്കുന്നത്. നമ്മുടെ വീട്ടില്‍ തന്നെ നിഷ്പ്രയാസമിതുണ്ടാക്കാം. **ആവശ്യമുള്ള സാധനങ്ങള്‍** 1. ചാണകം ( രണ്ടു കി.ഗ്രാം) 2. നെയ്യ് – 250 ഗ്രാം 3. ഗോമൂത്രം- 3.5 ലിറ്റര്‍ 4. വെള്ളം- 2.50 ലിറ്റര്‍ 5. പാല്‍- 750 മി.ലി 6. തൈര് 500 മി.ലി 7. കരിക്കിന്‍ വെള്ളം 750 മി.ലി 8. ശര്‍ക്കര 500 ഗ്രാം 9. പാളയന്‍കോടന്‍ പഴം- 500 ഗ്രാം (ചക്ക, മാങ്ങ, കൈതച്ചക്ക തുടങ്ങിയ പഴങ്ങളും ഉപയോഗിക്കാം) 10 പച്ചിലച്ചാറ് ഒരു ലിറ്റര്‍ (നാറ്റപ്പൂച്ചെടി,ആത്ത, കിരിയാത്ത്, ശീമക്കൊന്ന പോലുള്ള ചെടികളുടെ ഇലകള്‍) **തയാറാക്കുന്ന വിധം** ചാണകവും നെയ്യും നല്ലതു പോലെ കുഴച്ചു യോജിപ്പിച്ചു രണ്ടു ദിവസം സൂക്ഷിച്ചു വയ്ക്കുക. മൂന്നാം ദിവസം 2.5 ലിറ്റര്‍ ഗോമൂത്രം സമം വെള്ളവുമായി ചേര്‍ത്ത് ഒന്നാം ചേരുവയുമായി കൂട്ടികലര്‍ത്തുക. 15 ദിവസം ഇത് ബക്കറ്റില്‍ സൂക്ഷിക്കുക. പിന്നെ പാല്‍, തൈര്, കരിക്കിന്‍വെള്ളം ഇവയില്‍ ശര്‍ക്കരയും പാളയന്‍ കോടന്‍ പഴവും ഞെരടി ചേര്‍ത്ത് 25 ദിവസം ഇളക്കാതെ ബക്കറ്റില്‍ മൂടി സൂക്ഷിക്കുക. 25ാം ദിവസം ഒരു ലിറ്റര്‍ പച്ചിലച്ചാറ് ഒരു ലിറ്റര്‍ ഗോമൂത്രവുമായി കൂട്ടിക്കലര്‍ത്തി മുകളില്‍ സൂചിപ്പിച്ച മിശ്രിതത്തിലേക്ക് ഒഴിക്കുക. തുടര്‍ന്ന് 15 മുതല്‍ 20 (ഒരു മാസം വരെ സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നതും നല്ലതാണ് ) ദിവസം കൂടി ഈ മിശ്രിതം സൂക്ഷിച്ചുവയ്ക്കുക. എല്ലാ ദിവസവും ഇളക്കി കൊടുക്കാന്‍ മറക്കരുത്. 20 ദിവസം കഴിയുമ്പോള്‍ മിശ്രിതത്തില്‍ നിന്നും ഗന്ധമുണ്ടാകാന്‍ തുടങ്ങും. ഈ സമയം ഉപയോഗിച്ചു തുടങ്ങാം. **ഉപയോഗിക്കേണ്ട വിധം** വെള്ളം ചേര്‍ത്തു നേര്‍പ്പിച്ചാണ് ലായനി ചെടികള്‍ക്കു പ്രയോഗിക്കേണ്ടത്. തടത്തിലൊഴിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുകയും ഇലകളില്‍ തളിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യാം. തടത്തിലൊഴിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ചുവട്ടില്‍ നിന്ന് അല്‍പ്പം വിട്ടു വേണമൊഴിച്ചു കൊടുക്കാന്‍. 300 മില്ലി ലിറ്റര്‍ 10 ലിറ്റര്‍ വെള്ളത്തിലെന്ന തോതില്‍ പ്രയോഗിച്ചാല്‍ മതി, വൈകുന്നേരമാണ് പറ്റിയ സമയം. പശുവിന്റെ ചാണകത്തിനും മൂത്രത്തിനും പകരം ആട്ടിന്‍കാഷ്ടവും മൂത്രവും ഉപയോഗിച്ചും ദശഗവ്യം നിര്‍മിക്കാം. **കീടങ്ങളും രോഗങ്ങളും** വേരഴുകല്‍, വെളളപ്പൂപ്പല്‍, ഇലകരിച്ചില്‍ തുടങ്ങിയ രോഗങ്ങള്‍ക്കും എപിഡ്, ത്രിപ്‌സ് വെള്ളീച്ച, മണ്ഡരി, പുല്‍ച്ചാടി തുടങ്ങിയ കീടങ്ങള്‍ക്കും എതിരേ ദശഗവ്യം ഫലപ്രദമാണെന്ന് അനുഭവസ്ഥരായ കര്‍ഷകര്‍ പറയുന്നു. വേഗത്തില്‍ കായ്പിടിക്കാനും നല്ല വലിപ്പമുള്ള പഴങ്ങളുണ്ടാകാനുമിത് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത് സഹായിക്കും. ചേന, ചേമ്പ് തുടങ്ങിയ കിഴങ്ങ് വര്‍ഗങ്ങള്‍ക്കും തെങ്ങ്, കവുങ്ങ് തുടങ്ങി റബറിന് വരെ ദശഗവ്യം ഉപയോഗിക്കാം.
